EastEnders‘ Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin will finally reconnect following their recent estrangement.
The couple faced a huge setback in their marriage last month when Suki offered to raise her granddaughter Avani’s baby. Though Eve was reluctant to have kids, she decided to consider Suki’s plan, but later supported Avani’s decision to have an abortion.

Meanwhile, Avani’s parents Ravi Gulati and Priya Nandra-Hart were furious to discover Suki’s secret scheme and the whole Panesar family moved out of the house. A devastated Eve also cut ties with her wife after realising the extent of her manipulation and lies.
Next week, however, will see a turning point for the couple following a nasty encounter with Callum Highway’s dad Jonno.
The character was last seen on the Square five years ago when he disowned Callum for being gay, and was later sent packing by Phil Mitchell.
In upcoming episodes, it seems Jonno hasn’t changed his horrible views as he launches a verbal and physical homophobic attack on Eve.
Witnessing the abuse at The Albert, policeman Callum intercepts and promptly arrests his father. However, Jonno claims he’s innocent and passes the blame onto his friend.
Callum feels conflicted and questions whether his dad is telling the truth, but Eve is adamant that Jonno should be held responsible.
When Suki arrives on the scene, she’s quick to support her wife, resulting in a reconciliation between the pair. Is there a way back for their marriage?
While it remains to be seen if the pair will come back together, Balvinder Sopal expressed her wish for her character to reunite with Eve, saying: “There’s going to be twists and turns, and ups and downs, and hopefully a lot of rekindling…”
