A thrilling preview for Landman’s second series has just dropped, teasing further explosive drama featuring oil magnate Tommy Norris (portrayed by Billy Bob Thornton).
Among last year’s most successful programmes, the Paramount+ series situated in West Texas’s oil territories attracted 35 million viewers upon its November 2024 debut, establishing a fresh benchmark for the streaming service.
Adapted from the Boomtown podcast and developed by Taylor Sheridan alongside Christian Wallace, numerous enthusiasts are keenly anticipating the sophomore series.
Fortunately, it’s arriving earlier than expected with fresh Landman episodes commencing Sunday, 16th November.
This instalment sees Oscar-nominated Demi Moore assuming the spotlight as Cami Miller following Jon Hamm’s exit from the programme as her spouse, M-Tex proprietor Monty Miller,
Returning for the second series are Ali Larter as Angela Norris, Tommy’s former wife, Jacob Lofland as their lad Cooper and Michelle Randolph as their daughter Ainsley.
Joining the upcoming series is fellow Oscar nominee Sam Elliott, whose character remains identified solely as TL, though Tommy addresses him as “pop” in the fresh trailer.
Elliott previously depicted Pinkerton agent Shea Brennan in Sheridan’s acclaimed Yellowstone spin-off 1883.
Grey’s Anatomy favourite Stefania Spampinato has additionally joined the cast as a recurring performer.
The anticipation for the new series is already reaching fever pitch, with fans suggesting it surpasses Sheridan’s other acclaimed drama, Yellowstone.
