It was Salem University Move-in Day on the September 5 episode of Days of Our Lives. All the kids — or, at least, the four we’re supposed to care about — are hauling their stuff across town and settling in. What a coincidence that all four chose to attend school so close to home! But, seeing as they are all staying in Salem, we’re wondering why their respective parents and guardians are making such a big deal out of it.
Gabi Struggles as Ari Settles Into Salem U
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) seems the most teary-eyed, which is odd, considering that Ari (Marissa Reyes) spent all of her (off the canvas, accelerated) growing-up years outside of Salem, living with her dads, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), in Arizona. Arianna Grace used to be half a continent away (we’re not sure exactly what state Salem is in).
Now she’s across town, as Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) so helpfully pointed out. So Gabi should be happier, not sadder. Unless Gabi ends up in a love triangle.
Cat Worries While Aaron Starts His Next Chapter
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) was away from her family for years. And Aaron (Louis Tomeo) was always either away at lacrosse camp or visiting their mom.
So why is Cat acting like she’s going to be all alone now? Especially since Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) is still under her roof, right?
Brady Questions Tate’s Choices — and His Future
We understand why Brady (Eric Martsolf) is concerned. His son has definitely demonstrated that he can’t be trusted. Brady referenced the “rough year” Tate (Leo Howard) has had to Marlena (Deidre Hall), without mentioning that it takes two to tango, and Tate’s rough year was due to his lousy life decisions.
So what did Tate do the minute his dad waved bye-bye? Tate jumped into bed with Holly (Ashley Puzemis).
Maggie Wonders If Holly and Sophia Are Ready for Freedom
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) seems to be the one with the best reason to worry if Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is an example of what happens to girls who trust Tate. Then again, Holly and Tate already had sex in Marlena’s apartment, so it’s not like going to college and living on their own will change their behavior.
In any case, we’re not sure why their families are making such a big deal out of their kids moving… a few blocks away. Find out more about how these storylines play out in the weekly DOOL spoilers for September 1-5.
