AN EASTENDERS legend has been spotted living it up at Notting Hill Carnival.
The 85-year-old actor stunned soap fans as he looked worlds away from his Albert Square character.

Soap fans had to do a double-take as he looked worlds away from his character
Rudolph Walker – best known for his long-running role as Patrick Trueman – proved he’s still got the moves as he joined in the celebrations.
The TV favourite, who turns 86 later this year, is a regular at the annual event and never lets his age stop him from soaking up the party atmosphere.
Fans were quick to point out how dapper he looked, worlds away from his usual on-screen cardigan and flat cap, as he enjoyed the sunshine and music in true carnival style.
He looked suave in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, and certainly dressed for the heat, wearing sunglasses and white trainers.
And ever the gent, Rudolph happily posed for selfies and chatted to fans, proving he’s just as much a star off-screen as he is in Walford.
Taking to the comment section on TikTok, one fan wrote: “Rudolph Walker, what an absolute gent and true legend.”
Another added: “What an absolute national treasure Sir Rudolph is.”
Others couldn’t believe his age as a third penned: “You wouldn’t think he was 85, he looks amazing for his age.”
A fourth said: “This man loooooooks good. Rudolph will be 86 in September.”
As well as supporting the carnival, Rudolph has supported many charities, including the ACLT, Stroke Association, Prostate UK, Sickle Cell, Haven’s Hospices to name a few.
EastEnders icon makes shock return after 11 years
He founded his own charity, the Rudolph Walker Foundation, 10 years ago, to work with young people through drama.
He has had over 60 years of experience in TV, film and theatre – but is best known playing Patrick Trueman in BBC soap EastEnders.
Some of his biggest storylines included having a stroke, supporting Yolande through her sexual assault, and more recently, being attacked during an attempted robbery.
11 years after last being on-screen on EastEnders, Patrick’s son Anthony Trueman made his long-awaited return to Walford.
MICHELLE Collins has seen her second EastEnders stint boost her bank balance. Yet what stars have quit this year?
The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to a shock back-from-the-dead return to Albert Square last year.
Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998.
Yet what about the 2024 exits?
Earlier this summer, loyal soap fans appeared to note how Stevie Mitchell had “quit” the long-running series.
It came after Alan Ford enjoyed just six-months on-screen.
Bobby Beale actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years in Walford.
Fans also feared Martin Fowler actor James Bye would “quit out of boredom” over recent storylines.
Additionally, a host of stars have quit the BBC soap for Hollywood fame.
One of the most successful stars to come from the BBC One soap is Rob Kazinsky.
He played Stacey Slater’s brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, he has starred in Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel.
Ben Hardy, who quit EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost a decade ago, went on to break Hollywood the following year, when he starred as Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Since then, he has played Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he starred in Michael Bay’s Netflix movie 6 Underground.
Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005.
She starred as the lead in short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008.
The character, who is played by Nicholas Bailey, returned on Monday’s episode and immediately made a beeline for a former flame, Kat Slater.
She asked if he was back to help his dad Patrick Trueman back on his feet after he was attacked.
But Anthony was left shocked as he clearly was unaware of the incident.
How will the Fox and Trueman families adjust to their long-lost family member returning?
He won’t be the only person Kat will be reuniting with, as Zoe will be heading back to the Square.
Actress Michelle Ryan has reprised her role as Zoe and will be coming face to face with her mum next week on Monday 1st September.
How will Kat react to seeing Zoe after 10 years, and the Slater family keeping her a secret from her?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One or stream from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
