Emmerdale has teased dangerous consequences for April Windsor and Dylan Penders in an ominous cliffhanger.
In recent weeks, Dylan has been dealing drugs for newcomer Ray, a gangster who preys on vulnerable teens. Initially, the villain showed leniency towards Dylan, but it wasn’t long before he pressured the youngster to resume his criminal activities.
April was soon drawn into the plan, with Ray telling her it’d be better if she did the job instead of Dylan as no one would suspect her. April reluctantly agreed to do the drop, though insisted it was a one off.
In tonight’s episode, the teenagers discussed the plan for the drop, with Dylan reassuring a nervous April that it would be “easy”.

“I just wanna get it over with, and then we can forget about Ray,” she replied, before heading off to make the drop.
Clutching the bag tightly, April brushed past a young man and ignored his attempts to chat. She left the backpack behind a bin, ready for collection, but the man ran over and grabbed it before darting off.
Though she tried to chase him, it was clear the bag and its contents were gone. Panicked April had no choice but to return to the Woolpack, telling Dylan that she’d “messed up”.

“This guy was hassling me and he took the bag,” she explained. “He started following me, trying to talk. I ignored him so he backed off. But I dropped the bag behind the bin and then I walked away but I saw him grab it and run.”
Dylan admitted that Ray was usually pleasant to him, but feared how the villain would react when he learnt about the mistake. At the cricket pavillion, Dylan defended April and offered to pay Ray back for the stolen drugs.
To the teen’s surprise, Ray revealed that the drugs were delivered safely, but when he mentioned a “next time”, Dylan insisted it was a one-off situation. He explained that he wanted out of the game and was looking for a proper job.
The pair seemingly parted ways amicably, with Ray leaving the door open for Dylan to return. However, as Dylan left, Ray’s expression changed, revealing his displeasure. What does he have planned for the teens?
