Jussie Smollett, Kody Brown and Teresa Giudiceare gearing up for some fierce competition on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4.
On Wednesday, Aug. 6, Fox announced that the Empire alum, 43, the Sister Wives star, 56, and the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 53, are among the recruits who will be pushing themselves to the limit on the competition series.
The mother-daughter duo are not the only competitors with family ties.
Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson East and her husband, Andrew East, a former NFL long snapper, will go head-to-head, as well as singer and actress Jessie James Decker and her husband, Eric Decker, a former NFL wide receiver.
Andrew and Eric will be joined by fellow NFL alums Randall Cobb and Johnny Manziel. Other athletes in the competition include Olympic soccer player Christie Pearce Rampone and retired NBA player Nick Young.
The Valley star Brittany Cartwright, Montana Boyz TikToker Mark Estes, model Chanel Iman, influencer Brianna LaPaglia, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eva Marcille and actor Ravi V. Patel round out the cast.
In season 5, the recruits will be training in Morocco and “will endure the extreme circumstances of urban warfare,” according to a press release.
“New this season, some recruits will arrive in pairs consisting of spouses and family members, but will compete individually,” the description continues. “All recruits must learn the art of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable as they are faced with training challenges across the country’s expansive desert terrain.”
The challenges — under the direction of Directing Staff (DS) agents Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and Jovon “Q” Quarles — are set to include “a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction, a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels, a plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged underwater and must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more.”
While there are “no votes and no eliminations – just survival,” the competitors, “who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of ‘no guts, no glory’ – and no glam.”
As you will recall, Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole won season 3 after an intense series of challenges.
