Coronation Street‘s Carla Connor receives some no-nonsense advice over her proposal plans next week, as Ryan has his say.
As Carla makes plans to pop the question to Lisa Swain, a supportive Ryan fears that she isn’t doing enough to sweep her partner off her feet.
Corrie bosses have released a first look at the scene, which airs in next Friday’s episode.

As seen in the clip, Carla is thrilled when Lisa’s engagement ring finally arrives in the post at their new home of No.6.
When Lisa walks in after a trip to the shop, Carla and her nephew Ryan are forced to tell some white lies over the contents of the parcel.
Once Lisa is safely out of earshot again, conversation turns to exactly how the proposal will go. Ryan expects Carla to go down on one knee in front of Lisa, but she’s not keen on the idea…

“I don’t think I’m going to do that,” Carla scoffs. “It doesn’t need to be a whole production, does it?”
Sceptical Ryan replies: “As no woman said, ever…”
