Coronation Street‘s Tracy Barlow may have a nasty surprise in store for her estranged husband Steve amid their divorce proceedings.

Amy is convinced her mum isn’t being genuine with Steve and his new partner Cassie Plummer. Despite Tracy’s insistences that she wants to stop fighting and keep the divorce amicable, Amy suspects there’s more to it.

In upcoming scenes, Tracy, her dad Ken Barlow, Steve, Cassie and Amy sit down for an awkward extended family dinner.

When Tracy suggests they should stop arguing for Amy’s sake, Steve is relieved. Amy, on the other hand, isn’t fully sold on her mum’s sudden good behaviour.

Is Tracy secretly plotting revenge against Steve?

“Amy knows Tracy better than anyone and is certain that she won’t make this so easy for Steve,” our Corrie source explained.

“Steve, on the other hand, has often been pretty naive when it comes to Tracy’s games and often underestimates her – to his own cost! Could the divorce still turn nasty?”

Meanwhile, another couple is set to hit the rocks on Corrie when Aadi Alahan comes clean to Lauren Bolton about the LSD-laced drink.

In scenes airing next week, Aadi tells Lauren what really happened at the party, explaining she had LSD-induced hallucinations of her abuser Joel Deer. Aadi kept quiet about the spiked drink at first, but caves to his own sense of guilt in an episode airing on 8 August.
