Coronation Street is gearing up for a particularly high-octane week on the famous cobbles next week and we’ve got a first look at what’s to come with three brand new video clips.

There are fears aplenty as evil killer Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) escapes from prison and heads back to the Street, determined to reunite with his clan.

But, in typical Corrie fashion, things take quite a turn, with numerous lives on the line as Mick goes too far yet again.

Elsewhere, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and Carla Connor (Alison King) are upset after being outbid by Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) but No. 6 is soon the last thing on the couple’s mind as they witness a robbery.

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), meanwhile, is left confused when brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) corners him after Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) shares unexpected news.

Monday July 14

Following his escape from prison, Mick makes a beeline for the factory, determined to locate Joanie. Sarah is alone when the criminal enters and he takes her prisoner.

Tim, who witnessed Mick approaching the building, confronts the villain, who grabs Sarah, seemingly intent on using her as a hostage. Sally, meanwhile, hears the commotion and tries to get Joanie to safety.

Wednesday July 16

David is taken aback to learn from Nick that Lily stopped Max from entering the classroom during Mick’s horror showdown at the school. David vows to talks to his daughter about the incident.

Friday July 18

Lisa and Carla are upset to have been outbid by Debbie on No. 6. Alya is apologetic as the couple confirm their intention of dropping out of the bidding war.

Their attention is soon elsewhere when a masked burglar runs out of the shop as Aadi watches in horror. Lisa, meanwhile, is frozen as Carla is left worried over why she didn’t act.
