Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) is fired in EastEnders next week after crossing the line with boss Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).
As viewers of the BBC One soap have seen, Vicki is working for Bernie on behalf of the Panesar family, looking over their accounts.
Bernie has been trustee of the businesses since the beginning of the year, when twisted Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) exacted his final revenge plan by putting her in charge.
In scenes that aired this week, Vicki had suspicions about some invoices, but her worries were quickly pushed to one side.
She alerted Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to the situation, and he warned against Bernie messing with his clan. Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) gave her the benefit of the doubt, however, leaving her to file yet another claim.
Sat alone in the cafe, she drafted up the document while telling her mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley) that it wouldn’t be long until she could join her in Spain.

In upcoming scenes, Vicki’s problems intensify when sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) decides to kick her out of their family home for failing to repay the debts owed to her.
Desperate for a quick cash source, she turns to Bernie for an advance, but is subsequently fired.
Oops.
Vicki, adamant that something sinister is going on, steals her laptop and finds concrete evidence that Bernie is thieving – and decides to use this as a blackmail device.
Little does she realise, the whole situation is going to be turned on its head when Bernie accuses her of being the one stealing, and Ravi intends to do something about it.
Later in the week, he lures Vicki to Walford East.
