Next week on Coronation Street, Kevin is suspicious about Abi and Carl’s relationship when he catches Abi in a lie, while Dee-Dee and James clash over Laila’s future.

Meanwhile, Todd tries to convince Millie to come clean about her pregnancy lie.

1. Kevin catches Abi out

Kevin grows suspicious when he spots a message on Abi’s phone from Carl, stating that he’d like to get to know her better.

Meanwhile, as Carl mocks up another fake MOT certificate, Abi warns him to stay away from her and hatches a plan to get rid of him.

Abi shows Kevin the sloppy workmanship on a car that Carl has been working on but when Kevin checks the CCTV, he’s shocked to see Abi tampering with the car.

2. Kevin receives his results

Abi reveals to Kevin that she’s nervous about his test results ahead of his latest appointment, and Kevin tries to mask his anger.

When a breakdown call comes in, Abi is forced to head to work, and Kevin goes to his appointment alone.

At the hospital, Kevin prepares to meet the consultant, but will he receive good news?

3. Carl makes his feelings clear

Abi arrives at the garage and is furious to discover Carl with his feet up. She rails at him for making her miss Kevin’s appointment, but Carl is unrepentant.

Carl confesses he can’t stop thinking about Abi and knows she feels the same. Abi knocks Carl back and insists that she loves Kevin and is committed to their life together.

4. Dee-Dee goes behind James’s back

Dee-Dee tells James and Ed that she’s glad to have the support of her church but feels put out when James insists that Laila’s upbringing will be non-religious.

Frustrated by James’s stance, Dee-Dee meets up with Billy to arrange a christening for Laila. When Billy informs her that he will require James’s permission, Dee-Dee takes matters into her own hands.

5. Dee-Dee shares her plan with Alya

Later in the week, Laila assures James that she has accepted his decision to raise Laila in a non-religious household and will drop the issue.

Meanwhile, Alya is shocked when Dee-Dee asks her to be Laila’s godmother, and she realises that Dee-Dee intends to go through with the christening behind James’s back.

6. Todd tries to reason with Millie

Millie is thrown into a panic when Theo tells her he’s planning to speak to her teachers about her pregnancy.

Todd clocks Millie’s reaction and urges her come clean as it’s clear she’s lying about the pregnancy. Sympathetic to her plight, Todd suggests she take a second test to prove the first was a false positive, and he won’t tell her parents.

When Theo returns home, Millie announces that she has something to tell him. Will she tell Theo the truth?

7. George has concerns about Todd’s relationship

Todd confides in George that James paid a visit earlier, but that Theo wasn’t best pleased. George masks his concerns about the incident.

Later, Theo gives Todd a massage that soon turns steamy, but the couple are interrupted by the arrival of George.

8. Maria is concerned about Gary

When Gary misses Liam’s birthday, Liam insists something has happened to him — and Maria fears he’s right.

As the family gather for Liam’s birthday tea, they are unaware that Gary is still unconscious in hospital. When his condition worsens, a nurse rushes to help. Will Gary be okay?

9. Steve tells Cassie how he feels

Having gone public with their relationship, Cassie suggests to Steve that they have lunch with Sally and Tim.

Over lunch, Sally can’t resist making digs at Cassie whilst Tim tries to keep the peace. Worse still, the double date is interrupted by Tracy’s arrival.

As Sally and Tim begin to warm to Cassie, Steve reveals that he can see himself falling for her. How will Cassie react?

10. Bernie plays peacemaker

Bernie tries to reason with Brody and presses him to forgive Lou. Despite Bernie’s plea, Brody states that Lou is dead to him following his discovery that Kit is his biological father.

However, Bernie refuses to take no for an answer. She invites Lou over and begs Brody to listen to what she has to say.

11. Nina and Summer deal with the fallout

Following the events of Aadi’s party, Nina and Summer discuss the fallout of their LSD trip.

The pair agree that they got off lightly but will the rest of the partygoers be so lucky?
