EastEnders star Jake Wood has sent fans into meltdown with his latest social media post.
The 52-year-old actor is best known for playing Max Branning in the BBC One soap form 2006 until 2021.
He recently logged into his Instagram to share a topless snap showing off his ripped physique with “age ain’t nothin’ but a number baby” written over the snap.
It didn’t take long for his followers to leave a message for the TV personality in the comment section underneath his latest picture.
One fan gushed: “I think I’ve had a crush on you since the days of one foot in the grave/OFAH. No more thirst traps!”
Another added: “Is is me or is it getting hot in here?”

A third person said: “Stop doing sit ups and get back in Eastenders.”
Someone else wrote: “Suns out guns out.”
It comes after the news that Jake is reportedly returning to EastEnders as womaniser Max.
He was last seen in Walford four years ago but bosses are hoping his reappearance with spice up the storylines.
A source told The Sun: “Jake’s return is huge news for EastEnders fans as his character made a massive mark on the show.

“It’ll raise some eyebrows after he was absent from the 40th anniversary earlier this year.
“Bosses are excited about what his character’s reappearance means for spicing up the plots.
“There is plenty to go at. Max has loads of unfinished business in the Square and is set to ruffle some feathers.”
Lothario Max had four marriages and 10 affairs and lured 15 women into his bed – including his son Bradley’ Branning partner Stacey Slater – during his time on the Square before leaving to set up a new life in New Zealand.

Jake previously admitted he missed being part of the soap except for the busy filming regime saying: “I don’t miss the schedules.
“Anyone will tell you how hard they are and sort of all-consuming but obviously I miss a lot of the people.
“When you’re at the centre of a big storyline like EastEnders Christmas, something like that, it’s a real thrill as an actor to be a part of that, big storylines, big characters.”
