Coronation Street has aired concerning scenes for Debbie Webster as her dementia storyline continues.
Debbie has been keeping her diagnosis a secret, with Carl only knowing by accident, but it’s becoming more and more noticeable that something is up.
In tonight’s episode, Debbie attended the drag night at the Rovers, but after she admitted to Bernie Winter she struggles to be in the same room as now-ex Ronnie Bailey, the two decided to go to Chariot Square Bar.
There, Debbie saw Brody Michaelis having a drink. She asked him if he’s got his ID, but when he didn’t show any and called her grandma, she smashed their beer bottles on the floor and screamed at them to get out.

Brody and his friend left after Debbie threatened to call the police, but when Debbie just said “he’s just a kid chancing his arm” and it wasn’t that big a deal, Debbie started to get flustered, shaking and speaking in a higher-pitched voice.
“It’s behaviour like his, and yours, that sink businesses like mine,” she said, on the verge of tears. “Shame on you.”
Her responses to Bernie started to get more illogical, and she eventually told her friend to get out as well.

Later on, Abi returned from the drag night and told Carl that Debbie did a disappearing act, which left him concerned. Elsewhere, Bernie told Ronnie about what happened at the bar, explaining that Debbie’s behaviour just flipped like a switch.
“She’s a firecracker, Ron, but this were something else,” she said.

Carl eventually found Debbie at the hotel, and she admitted she was struggling with work.
Later this week, Debbie will have to reveal her diagnosis to her family, while she gets in even more trouble next week.
