This week, Elaine was feeling exhausted by George’s constant lies about his former wives. Furthermore, when Elaine found out that George was assisting Cindy Bealle in reviving Albert, she got more concerned, thinking that they might be having an affair. Besides that, she also learned that her husband had been with his other former wife, Sabrina, on Christmas night. She was fuming due to his affairs.

Meanwhile, at the Albert, Elaine met a charming and handsome man named Stephan and ended up having a one-night stand with him. However, when she returned home, George apologised to her, making her feel more guilty. During the preparations for Kat and Alfie’s wedding reception, she confided in Linda about Stephen. She suggested that she tell the truth. However, when she told the truth, he became angry and left Elaine alone in the barrel store.

Elaine wouldn’t blame herself completely, as she said Stephen’s attention and George’s betrayal pushed her to perform such an act. Later, she tried to have a fresh start with George, but he didn’t agree. He decided to separate and exit The Vic. However, the soap fans speculated that George already had plans to rekindle with Cindy.

She married George under an alias but later left him and their daughters in Spain after Lucy’s death. However, they met in Walford again this year. As he isn’t with Elaine now, fans speculate that Cindy and George could reunite.
