Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) is keeping secrets from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) in EastEnders next week… but what exactly is he up to?
Their complex love story – which spans almost 23 years – is set to face another rocky patch in upcoming episodes.
This is despite the pair being a vision of happiness when he popped the question to her, and their eventual wedding this week. Of course, as we all know, the bash was quickly organised to promote their new limousine hire business, something which enraged Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).
She was furious to learn that Kat had signed on the dotted line to purchase the car with her cheating ex Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), and to make matters worse, he was coughing up half the cash for their nuptials.
In upcoming scenes, the press coverage of the vehicle comes flooding in, and Jean is upset to see Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) branded ‘Mrs Monroe’.
Alfie, who has diffused plenty of Slater drama over the last two decades, tries to find level ground with her, but soon becomes distracted by his phone.
What has he seen?

Harvey can’t see what her problem is. After all, they’re now in the past, and he’s moved on. Jean decides to take drastic action by sabotaging his new venture – until Alfie steps in and talks her down.
He promises to be by her side and support her through the break-up, which she’s clearly still cut up about. However, a fresh problem soon arrives on his doorstep when Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) calls him.
Given she’s currently taking some time away from Walford and staying with her cousin Lynne (Elaine Lordan), what possibly could she want?
Elsewhere, Kat becomes concerned about the influence her son Tommy’s (Sonny Kendall) new mate Joel Marshall (Max Murray) is having on him, after its revealed the lads were involved in a disgusting prank on a tube passenger.

The next day, Kat attempts to bring her worries for Tommy up again, but Alfie seems disorganised about their trip to officially register their marriage.
To make matters worse, Alfie then explains that he needs to make a quick trip to Australia as brother Spencer (Christopher Parker) is in turmoil.
Is Alfie telling the truth? Or is another secret about to tear the family apar
