Emmerdale revealed details of April Windsor’s revenge as her big storyline from the past few months was revisited.
The teenager was involved in a major arc earlier this year as she mysteriously vanished from the Dales following a fraught relationship with her father Marlon, who was left perplexed by her disappearance.
In a special standalone episode in February, the ITV soap revealed that April had fled to the big city after discovering that she was pregnant, with the teenager sleeping rough on the streets as she soon ran out of money.
After befriending Dylan Penders, April witnessed a brutal stabbing as well as being on the receiving end of vile intimidation by several men. The episode ended as April tragically suffered a miscarriage, with the character soon returning home.

April has since reintegrated into the village while processing her grief, recently expressing her interest in attaining a job over the summer. She got some positive news in the outset of Thursday’s (5 June) instalment, with Belle offering her a trial shift at Take A Vow.
April’s first responsibility involved filming a christening, with Mary Goskirk giving her a pep-talk as she stood behind the camera. Marlon looked on with pride as his daughter worked, remarking that they finally had something “positive” to latch on to.
There was a twist, however, as April twigged that the father of the christened child was one of the individuals who had threatened to urinate on her during her stint in the city. After composing herself, April immediately sought revenge.
As the father delivered a speech about his daughter, April promptly called the figure out on his disingenuous words as she exposed the truth. As the pair, along with his wife, spoke in private, April recalled the horrific incident.

“You see, you might not remember it, but I do – when you’re treated like that, you never forget it,” said April, with the teen remarking that the young girl and her mother “deserved” somebody better in their lives.
After a war of words, Mary and Marlon entered the room, with April getting them up to speed. After the man continued to utter vile remarks towards April, Mary punched him in the face as she labelled him “repugnant vermin”.
The figure threatened to press charges after developing quite the bruise, though she was unfazed as she reminded him that the police would be interested in his own actions. After the villain left, Marlon, Mary and Belle praised April for reclaiming her “power”.
