Drama is set to soar in EastEnders this week as a horror car crash unfolds in tonight’s episode. Spoiler alerts previously hinted that Harry would throw Zack into the boot of a car after discovering his plans to abscond with Barney.
Teddy, upon learning he isn’t Barney’s biological father, panics over his son’s rash actions. Desperate, he joins forces with Billy, Nigel, and Honey en route to the cinema, imploring them to tail Harry’s vehicle.
The outcome has been the subject of fan theories for weeks following a tantalising trailer release. Later revelations indicated that Teddy, Billy, Honey, Zack, Harry, and Nigel are all implicated in the incident.
Suspense has also intensified as actor James Farrar, who plays Zack, seemingly ‘dropped a hint’ about his character’s fate post-crash – sparking concern amongst viewers.
This Morning’s soap correspondent Sharon Marshall journeyed to Albert Square earlier today, where she sat down with James Farrar and actress Laura Doddington, who portrays Nicola Mitchell, reports the Mirror.
Naturally, Marshall probed for any scoop on the unfolding events, pressing Farrar for details. Attempting to maintain secrecy, James kept mum, yet when Sharon queried about the prospects of his character making it out alive, the actor gave nothing away, merely shrugging and whispering, “We’ll see.”
As the anticipation builds towards the British Soap Awards, Sharon playfully suggested: “It might be your last Soap Awards! You might be up for best exit next year.”
But will Zack escape unscathed?
Doubts are rising amongst the audience. Last week, observant EastEnders viewers picked up that the show’s YouTube channel uploaded a video titled “The Dramatic Journey of Zack Hudson,” sparking concerns that it could spell doom for his character.
One fan speculated: “Does anyone else see this video as a bad omen for Zack?” while another echoed the sentiment with: “yeah I thought that too.”
Another follower of the show pondered: “So is this a hint that he’ll be dying in the car crash?” meanwhile, a different viewer asserted: “Well this confirms zacks death!”.
