Mykelti Brown Missing From Garrison’s Funeral

There have been a lot of rumors as to what went down at Garrison Brown’s first service. The Sister Wives family all gathered so he could be honored in a military service for his great contributions.

Unfortunately, something was not right with Kody and Robyn Brown, which led to a falling out with Mykelti Brown Padron.

She had always been very close to Kody and Robyn despite her mother, Christine Brown Woolley, leaving the marriage.

Mykelti caught some heat for not alienating her father over bad behavior, but everyone noted she was very neutral. Sadly, she was not seen at the burial service for her brother.

This was interesting given that Logan and Leon Brown came out of reality television retirement for this day. They were not blurred out, but rather featured.

Leon even had a conversation with Maddie Brown Brush on camera regarding Kody and Robyn’s children. Yet, Mykelti was missing, and fans have wondered why. One viewer wrote this:

• I watched the service twice. Where was Mykelti? Tony? Everyone was there, even Gwen and Bea. Where was Mykelti?

This is a very good question, as she is close with her family and most of her siblings. More so, she is someone who very much likes to be on camera, but this time, she stayed away.

Another Sister Wives fan stated this:

• I also did not see Tony and Mykelti, very confused by that! She’s on the show a lot, so I found it strange that she’d not want to be filmed for this and also that she’s miss this… Super confusing

As it turns out, it boiled down to money and Meri Brown. She has had a strained relationship with her father’s former first wife, but was also planning a move.

The Sister Wives Truth Comes Out

Mykelti Brown Padron confirmed on her Patreon why she did not attend. According to a Sister Wives viewer and fan, Mykelti had two conflicting stories:

• One time she said to save $ for the move to NC and recently because she didn’t want TLC to highlight her strained relationship with Meri🙄

She has long struggled with Meri Brown, with some of the siblings saying Meri was abusive. They also worked at an MLM together, and when Mykelti spoke poorly of Meri, it could have cost her a job. As for North Carolina, she and her family did relocate there. So, to fly five people may have been a bigger expense than she could handle. So, what did fans think of this?

• That’s rich. She and Meri were at Gwen’s engagement party, not a word about their strained relationship. Paedon was at the burial, and no comments about his and Meri’s relationship.
• Gwen showed up and she has a very strained relationship with Paedon.
• I guess the loss of a brother wasn’t significant enough to put her differences aside to honor his life. Main character syndrome is strong.

Many were not pleased with her poor excuse for missing this vital event. Hopefully, there is more to it, and she really could not make it.
