Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) is about to put multiple lives in danger in Coronation Street, and one of them is Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove).
Mick has been established as a character not to be messed with. He hasn’t been in Weatherfield for very long, but has made enemies with multiple residents including Gary Windass (Mikey North), Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley).
It’s Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) who faces Mick next week, as he lets slip that Lou (Farrel Hegarty) isn’t as loyal as he likes to think.
With Mick growing paranoid, he confronts Lou and later, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) realises that her friend has vanished into thin air.

Lou tries to call Mick and get him to come home, but by this point he is consumed with rage.
He speeds away in his van and later decides to take matters into his own hands, convincing himself that Kit is the person to blame for this nightmarish situation.
While this is happening, Craig (Colson Smith) has arrived at work to shadow Kit as part of his CID placement. With Kit distracted though, Craig is left believing his colleague doesn’t really rate his work.
Lisa (Vicky Myers) urges Craig to prove Kit wrong just as he is called to investigate a disturbance. Spotting his chance, Craig heads off, but it appears that fate has other plans for him, as Asha (Tanisha Gorey) is forced to assist when he gets attacked.

Towards the end of the week, following the horrific events involving Craig, we see Bernie and Mick on a wasteground.
Mick calls Kit and summons him there, but poor Bernie reckons her son doesn’t care about her at all.
Kit arrives and finds Mick holding Bernie. With her life in danger, she makes an impassioned plea and tells Kit that she did attempt to contact him years ago, but his adoptive mother stopped her.
