Joe Layton arrived as Mick Michaelis in February alongside wife Lou (Farrel Hegarty) as the latest “nightmare neighbours” on the soap.
They moved into Mawdsley Street, to the rear of Chesney and Gemma’s house and soon made friends with the pair.
But later, Mick was revealed as the van driver following Chesney Brown, hinting at his more sinister side.
He has also had major run ins with Maria Connor and Ronnie Bailey.
And last month, Mick showed his violent side after he brutally attacked gentle Sean Tully.
And the now the soap is set to air an explosive flashback episode as Mick and Kit Green’s mystery past is finally revealed.
But before all this domestic drama Joe appeared in a huge superhero series.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, was an American television series, based on the Marvel Comics organization, S.H.I.E.L.D..
It is a fictional peacekeeping and spy agency in a world of full of superheroes and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The show acknowledges the continuity of the franchise’s films and other television series and Corrie star, Joe portrayed Lt. Lucas.

Lucas was an officer within the United States Air Force. He arrested Leo Fitz and intended to locate the rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team who had mysteriously vanished.
Lucas and his colleague Evans were eventually executed in an interrogation room of Blue Raven Ridge for having failed to capture Fitz and Lance Hunter.
But back on the streets of Weatherfield, despite arriving on the cobbles this year, both Lou and Mick are moving away from the cobbles in a shock exit this summer.
A Coronation Street spokesperson confirmed their exits and said: “Mick and Lou were brought into the show to cause chaos on the cobbles in the build up to a major storyline in the summer and they are already making their presence felt.
ITV bosses are locked in a battle to save the cash-strapped soap.
This means that a number of stars have either been axed from or have abandoned the long-running serial drama.
“Joe and Farrell were contracted for a specific length of time, some characters come in for a long time and some like Mick and Lou are brought to pass through and leave a trail of destruction behind them.
“Both actors are still filming with the show and will be on screen until the summer.”
TikTok star Farrel, said recently that everything was about to implode in a hint-filled bombshell about her departure.
She explained: “There’s a lot more to come from these two, I’m afraid to say. I think there’s a lot happening.
“It’s all about to come to a head, it’s all about to implode.”
