Emmerdale and EastEnders have received the most nominations on the British Soap Awards 2025 shortlist.
The two soaps have just edged ahead of Coronation Street and Hollyoaks after a strong showing in the first round of viewer voting.
Emmerdale and EastEnders have each received 13 nominations this year. Both have managed to get two cast members on the shortlist for the Best Leading Performer category.
Coronation Street and Hollyoaks have 11 nominations each.
The British Soap Awards take place at the Hackney Empire in London on Saturday 31 May, and will air on ITV1 and ITVX in a primetime slot in June.
Jane McDonald is returning to present the ceremony.
