Emmerdale‘s Ross Barton is left stunned next week as Steph Miligan unleashes her fury in his direction.
The couple’s relationship is tested as Steph struggles to cope with her parents Caleb and Ruby interfering in her life choices.
Upcoming episodes see Steph secretly plan to undergo cosmetic surgery to remove her physical resemblance to evil Anthony Fox, following the revelation that he’s her biological father.
Caleb and Ruby find out what Steph is up to and burst into the clinic at the last minute, preventing the surgery from going ahead.

“Ross doesn’t manage to stop Steph at first,” shares Georgia Jay, who plays the troubled character.
“There’s a bit of a confrontation. With everything Steph is going through, she lashes out verbally and physically.
“It’s a really upsetting moment because she’s really doing it to herself. The words that she uses are all towards herself, they’re not towards Ross. It’s all quite emotional and unfortunately she takes it out on him.”
Steph soon backs down, full of guilt for using Ross as an emotional punchbag like this.

Struggling to move on afterwards, Steph grabs a bottle of vodka and flees.
Georgia adds: “By the end, Steph collapses into Ross and he manages to bring her down. I think she very much loves Ross.
“She then rushes off to the depot in a car. She just keeps drinking until she’s absolutely obliterated and doesn’t really know what’s going on.”
