Life is about to change for multiple residents of Coronation Street.

There’s also trouble for Gary Windass (Mikey North), as he befriends Mick (Joe Layton) and discusses buying the builder’s yard.

Also on the cobbles, newcomer Carl (Jonathan Howard) opens up to Abi (Sally Carman) about Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) cancer diagnosis, and admits how worried he is about his brother.

The situation then changes quite drastically, however, as they then share a kiss, sparking the start of an affair storyline.

Elsewhere, before she leaves, Daisy makes a discovery about Christina (Amy Robbins), Carla (Alison King) gets suspicious of Betsy (Sydney Martin) again, and Eileen (Sue Cleaver) suffers a fall, but George (Tony Maudsley) makes it clear he’s far too busy to take her to A&E!
