Sister Wives star Meri Brown appeared on the Tamron Hall show this week, and what fans learn about Robyn Brown doesn’t make them feel warm and fuzzy towards the last wife standing on the TLC series.
Sister Wives: Tamron Hall Interviews Meri Brown
Fans loved Tamron Hall’s role as the Sister Wives Tell-All host. And this week on her show, she tells us why she was kicked to the curb from the popular TLC show.
When Sister Wives replaced Tamron Hall with Sukanya Krishnan, fans were disappointed. Only because Sukanya doesn’t ask the tough questions like Tamron.
But now, with Meri Brown as her guest this week, Tamron offers a Tell-All version for herself. She fills us in on the reason she was dismissed from the Sister Wives series.
Tamron Reveals Why She was Kicked to the Curb
Sister Wives star Meri Brown told Tamron she was honored to be asked to appear on her show. Both Tamron and Meri agreed that they connected during the four years Tamron was part of the TLC show.
Tamron hosted the Tell-All segments at the end of the season. This is when the individual Sister Wives spouses would answer questions and explain some of the scenes from that particular season.
Tamron Hall was known for asking the difficult questions. But they were also the questions that the viewers wanted answered.
So, when the powers-that-be told Tamron she was through with her Sister Wives gig, they also told her why. Tamron learned that certain members of the family were upset because she asked questions they thought were “too tough.”
Sister Wives: Meri Blames the Other Wives – 100 Percent
It is important to note that neither Tamron or Meri named any names when it came to the people who wanted Tamron gone. But sometimes actions speak louder than words.
While Tamron told the story of how her questions sometimes made the spouses uncomfortable, she played a clip of her asking Kody a question. She asked if marrying Robyn and making her his legal wife somehow “legitimized one wife” above the others.

Kody didn’t get a chance to answer before Robyn chimed in. She told Tamron at the time that she was offended by that question. So fans assume it is Robyn who felt the questions that Tamron asked were too tough. Then Meri said,
“I always felt like I had a really cool connection with you, and I never had any issues with you.” Then Tamron asked in a joking manner, “You’re blaming the other wives?” Then Meri responded, “Oh, 100 percent!”
Not a Name Mentioned – But Fans Seem to Know…
Again, during all this talk about the Sister Wives, neither Meri nor Tamron mentioned a name for the person or people who wanted this host gone. But the clip she played to demonstrate one of the tough questions asked in the past was suspicious for the fans.
Sister Wives fans already believed that Robyn drove the bus for the Brown family, especially when it came to Kody Brown. So to hear Robyn Brown pipe up and say Tamron offended her seemed to put things into place for the viewers.
“I know that there are people in the family who struggled with your wanting to hold them accountable, which is why they didn’t (want you as the host anymore).”
Then Meri continued. She said, “But that’s what you do! You hold people accountable, and when people don’t want to be held accountable, they kick you out of the club.”
So, Meri Brown saw it happening, but she made sure Tamron Hall understood that she had no part in it. Still, we don’t know for sure who was at the bottom of the complaint that ended up getting Tamron fired. But many fans from the TLC series seem to think they have a pretty good idea.
