It’s all-out war between Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) in Coronation Street soon as Jenny goes too far.

When Jenny and Daisy had a blazing row in the aftermath of Bertie (Rufus Morgan-Smith) almost drowning while Jenny was supposed to be watching him, Daisy was devastated when Jenny blamed her for the death of Jenny’s son Tom, who also drowned. Jenny claimed that she’d asked Daisy to keep an eye on her brother at the time when he died.

This allegation, coming on the back of Daisy losing her own baby and Bertie’s near-miss made Daisy contact her mum, Christina (Amy Robbins), who then turned up in Coronation Street.

Daisy and Jenny then seemed to reconcile, but it was part of a plan by Daisy and Christina to make Jenny pay.

Amy Robbins told us about their catfishing plan. ‘Basically we create this character called Dom on my phone, I have a burner phone. Jenny falls madly in love with Dom who’s attentive and lovely and, in our imagination, terribly handsome.

‘Jenny tells them she’s found this lovely fella online. We’re just wrapping her round our little finger making her fall in love with this man and of course Christina is sending the messages.’

Meanwhile Carla (Alison King) tells Jenny that she’s going to have to sell the Rovers because she has to pay Lisa (Vicky Myers) back. Jenny begs Carla to give her first refusal on the pub.

Jenny tells Daisy that Carla is selling the Rovers, but doesn’t tell her that she’s planning to buy it herself. But Carla later tells Jenny she’s better off buying the pub on her own without Daisy, as Daisy is a ‘spoiled madam.’

Christina and Daisy are fuming about Jenny’s plan to sell the Rovers from under Daisy’s nose and they vow that they’ll take her down.

‘Daisy is so angry with her,’ Amy explained.

‘Jenny has said some awful things to her, they’ve really fallen out about a number of things. Daisy is so angry with her and I have a long term resentment of her.
