EastEnders has aired a humorous little twist as Linda Carter’s romance storyline continues.
Previously, Kim Fox tried to play matchmaker and find Linda a man, but while she wasn’t sure she was ready, she decided to try and set son Johnny up with Felix Baker.
The two lads said that they weren’t interested in each other, and Johnny told his mum to stay out of his love life. However, that was yesterday…
In the latest episode, Linda went on a date with Jeff, the man she eventually let Kim set her up with.
The two made some small talk, but when Linda brought up her late husband Mick, she got emotional, made her excuses, and left.
When she got home, she walked in on Johnny and Felix in the middle of a make-out session.
At first, she screamed and slammed the door on them, and went to laugh about it in the kitchen with Elaine Peacock.
“If you were already seeing each other, why didn’t you just say so?” Linda asked, and Johnny explained that they weren’t “a thing” and were just having a laugh. Felix came in explained that it was just casual, and he’s got a plumber from Wolverhampton coming over to his in a bit.

Even though Felix might have been joking, Linda will still shocked by the duo’s blasé attitude.
“Dating doesn’t always have to be about finding someone to marry, Mum,” Johnny explained. “You can just be with someone, no strings… I keep seeing ’em if I like ’em, and if I don’t, I don’t.”
Buoyed by Johnny’s words, and Elaine’s insistence that no-one she dates has to be a replacement for Mick, Linda decided to commit to the dating game and enjoy herself along the way.
Whatever happens with Linda, it’s highly unlikely things will ever get serious between Johnny and Felix, as actor Matthew Morrison will be leaving the soap soon.
