EastEnders‘ Bianca Jackson will have to make a big decision about whether to tell her kidnapping story in her own words.
In upcoming scenes, Bianca and Sonia Fowler head to Beale’s Eels, where Bianca befriends a woman called Charlotte. The two women soon bond and decide to move the party to Harry’s Barn for a drink or two, but it becomes clear that Charlotte might have an ulterior motive.
At Harry’s Barn, the new character is revealed to be a journalist who’s interested in Bianca’s ordeal with Reiss Colwell. Reiss kidnapped Bianca after she discovered he’d killed his wife Debbie and implicated her sister Sonia.
She managed to escape and warn Sonia about her partner, with the dramatic storyline resulting in Reiss’s death during the explosion at The Vic.
When Charlotte offers Bianca the chance to speak up, she declines, but her curiosity is piqued nonetheless.
Later on, she discusses Charlotte’s idea with Sonia, but she’s adamant it’s a bad idea.
At the café the next day, Bianca meets with Kat Slater. Will she ask Kat for advice? And will she agree to the interview despite Sonia’s doubts?
The decision might prove tricky for the two sisters’ fraught relationship, with tensions being heightened by Martin Fowler’s upcoming funeral which will see the return of Sonia’s daughter Bex.
Earlier this year, both Sonia and Bianca were confirmed to be leaving Walford, though their exit storylines — which may well be intertwined — are being kept under wraps for now.
