EastEnders siblings Gina and Anna Knight (Francesca Henry and Molly Rainford) go head-to-head this week as they battle it out for the same thing.
The pair have both been left without jobs since an explosion tore through The Queen Vic as part of the BBC soap’s 40th anniversary episodes last month.
As a result, the pub’s doors have been closed ever since, also leaving the Carter-Knight family taking refuge at Sonia Fowler’s (Natalie Cassidy) house.
To capitalise on the pub’s closure, local club owner Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has extended the opening hours of Harry’s Barn and is experiencing a boom in business.
This week, she is looking to take on some more experienced bar staff to help with the rush.
Step forward Gina and Anna.
However, when the sisters arrive at Harry’s Barn for their trial but discover it’ll be Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), not Nicola, putting them through their paces.
Things soon get fractious when Harry takes great delight in winding Gina up, after his attempted blackmail of her earlier this year.
Fans will remember how Harry attempted to extort money out of Gina after witnessing her throw a brick through her mum Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) window in the wake of her Christmas attack.
But who will get the job?
Meanwhile, Queen Vic landlady Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) gets some good news about the blown-up boozer next week.
She receives a welcome call from the insurance company, who confirm that they will payout to rebuild The Vic.
However, Linda’s excitement soon disappears when her heavy-handed mum Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) takes over.
