The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Alan Laurent’s/a.k.a. Martin Laurent’s (both characters played by Christopher Cousins) reign of terror in Genoa City is far from over.
During the Wednesday, March 19 episode, “Alan” called Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) with an odd update.
The two were supposed to fly to Paris together to start looking at wedding venues; however, he decided to go ahead of her as he was organizing a “surprise”.

Traci Abbott’s “Alan Laurent” Epiphany
While Traci fluffed it off during Wednesday’s show, the weekly preview suggests that the proverbial poop will hit the fan in her world.
A clip from the Young and the Restless promo for March 24-28 shows a very emotional Traci as she tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she has a feeling that “Alan” isn’t who he claims to be.
What does Alan do that gets Traci near tears? Fans know that “Alan” is really Martin, and he may feel as if the walls are closing in on him. After all, he kidnapped Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case);
However, the women were located and rescued. On top of that, Traci did see some odd alerts pop up on his phone. This might have caused Martin to snap, and fans saw some of his true colors surface last week – but will it trigger the need to cause further damage?
The Ashley Abbott Factor
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is the one who technically introduced Alan and Traci, as it was Alan’s help with Ashley’s dissociative identity disorder (DID) that brought him into Traci’s orbit. It was also an experience with Martin that triggered it all, too, for Ashley.
Ashley lives in Paris, so could Martin reach out? Could he lure Ashley into a situation where she unsuspectedly becomes his latest victim?
Eileen Davidson has filmed some scenes on the soap that are about to air, and whenever Ashley returns to the canvas, fans can expect major drama!
Martin’s latest hostage crisis could be the very thing that finally exposes him, but what kind of damage will he cause in the aftermath of this?
