EastEnders has teased how Nicola Mitchell’s deadly secret might be revealed, in the show’s latest episode.

This week, the disappearance of Harry’s ex-girlfriend Shireen has been revisited, with her brother Asad arriving in Albert Square and accusing Teddy of arranging her murder.

With Harry growing suspicious, Teddy was determined to find out what happened to Shireen and prove his innocence to his son.

But it was then revealed that Nicola was in fact behind the disappearance, with accomplice Benji explaining that Shireen was buried under an industrial estate in Dartford.

In today’s episode, Teddy made plans to invest in Junior’s construction project in Dartford to keep tabs on his old associates – which naturally caused concern for Nicola.

She soon had another issue to deal with, as Ravi told her that a dodgy batch of pills had entered the supply chain, and Harry had bought some last night.

Nicola panicked when she found Harry lifeless in the bar, but he had just been drinking heavily. He was still devastated about Shireen and Nicola comforted him, but Harry assumed that his mum was just manipulating him.

Later, Nicola made an angry phone call to her supplier, but she was overheard by Teddy, who discovered her dodgy drug dealings. The former couple came to blows but were interrupted when Nicola found out that Harry was making a show of himself in The Albert.

The pair arrived just as a drunken Harry was threatening Felix, and they used violent tactics to drag their son home.

With Harry safe for now, Nicola and Teddy had a drink together. As they had an emotional chat, they grew closer and ended up sleeping together.

After their passionate encounter, the couple appeared to reconcile, with Nicola promising to stay away from drug dealing if he scrapped his Dartford plans.

Junior then called round to discuss their deal, and Teddy told him that he was no longer able to invest.

But Junior left a leaflet about his plans, and it was revealed that his construction project is on Paradise Park – where Shireen is buried.
