Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of March 17-21 reveal that pregnant Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will make a decision while some Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) horror haunts EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) will also get sneaky, so let’s talk about all the DOOL drama ahead.

For starters, Joy will have to figure out her next move now that she’s backed herself into a difficult corner.

Although Joy’s pregnancy test results were positive, she lied to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about it being a false alarm.

Of course, Joy can’t just pretend this baby doesn’t exist.

It seems like Joy really only has two options here: terminate the pregnancy or leave town so that Alex and Stephanie never find out the truth.

There’s a soapier story if Joy exits Salem and hides the remainder of her pregnancy, so maybe she’ll act like the corporate scene isn’t for her and quit Titan.

It’d be easy for Joy to claim she got a better gig elsewhere or even pretend she’s homesick for New York.

Whatever the case, it’s possible Joy could depart Days and come back down the road once she’s heavily pregnant or even after she’s given birth.

DOOL might be setting the stage for a long-term secret that’ll come out much later.

In the meantime, Days spoilers say Doug and Holly will carry out a scheme together.

Holly may help Doug steal the necklace back from Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) since that could be their only option when it comes to returning it to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

As for Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), they may run into more problems when it comes to their adoption goal.

Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) has concerns like Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson), so there should be double the trouble when it comes to adoption pushback.

That said, something tells us Amy and Theresa will still end up clashing as this storyline moves along.

Theresa and Amy have some strong personalities that surely aren’t going to mesh well as they try to help Tate and Sophia navigate all this.

In Washington, Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will put Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) through an interrogation.

In Shane’s office, he’ll face plenty of questions about where John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was last seen, who last saw him and what he was working on when he vanished.

Shane hasn’t been willing to divulge much so far, but Steve and Marlena will get tough with him as they demand updates on any news he can offer.

Unfortunately, Shane may not have a lot to go on and will likely make some rather grim predictions about John’s situation.

Back in Salem, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will deck EJ over the story of his conception.

Thanks to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), Johnny will know all about how EJ raped Sami the night he came to exist.

EJ forced Sami to sleep with him in exchange for saving Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) life, so Johnny will fly into a rage and perhaps disown his father over this revelation.
