1923 star Helen Mirren sheds some light on co-star Harrison Ford’s on-set behavior, and how male cast members love him. Starring Mirren and Ford as ranch owners Cara and Jacob Dutton, 1923 has an ensemble cast and follows an earlier generation of the Dutton family as they face hardships including Prohibition, drought, and the Great Depression. Mirren has spoken about her experiences working with Ford, and how his unique on-set presence has influenced the show.

In an interview with People, Mirren opened up about working with Ford, who she first met while starring alongside him in 1986’s The Mosquito Coast. Harrison is such a bloke. He’s what in England we call a bloke. He is a guy, and because he’s a bloke, all the other blokes absolutely love him, and quite rightfully… He’s always so lovely to all the other actors. And so we do all sit in the freezing cold on set, on funny, funky, little uncomfortable chairs, and the other guys just gather around Harrison because they just want to be in his company, I think.
