The Yellowstone prequel, 1923, has wrapped up leaving fans in a state of shock as the fate of characters Alex (portrayed by Julia Schlaepfer) and Spencer Dutton (played by Brandon Sklenar) was sealed.
Brandon quickly won over the hearts of viewers in the series, and fans are eager to know what’s next for the 34 year old star.
His next venture is The Housemaid, a psychological thriller based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel of the same name.
The film features an impressive cast, with Sydney Sweeney playing housemaid Millie and Amanda Seyfried portraying Nina, the wife of Sklenar’s character Andrew.
Michele Morrone has also been cast as Enzo in the movie, which is set for a US release on Christmas Day 2025, reports the Mirror US.

Filming officially concluded in March this year, with the main cast making an appearance at CinemaCon in April to promote the movie.
The plot revolves around Millie (Sweeney), a struggling young woman who gets a new lease on life as a housemaid to Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Sklenar), a wealthy high-end couple.
She soon discovers that the family’s secrets are far more perilous than her own – and they all seem to have blood on their hands.
During a chat with Variety at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Sklenar gave a sneak peek into his new project, describing it as “It’s very dark, dramatic [and] twisted.He described his character Andrew as: “.
He likened his character Andrew to “Norman Bates meets Patrick Bateman.

“It’s not gory but it’s twisted. It’s out there for sure,” he added.
“I am a little unhinged. You very rarely get the opportunity to just let the cat out of the bag.”
The flick is under the direction of Paul Feig with Rebecca Sonnenshine penning the script.
Sklenar stars in the new movie Drop, following a widow named Violet who gets creepy messages during her first date in years.
He’s in the role of Henry Campbell, Violet’s suitor for the evening.
