‘1923’ May Have Already Revealed The Mastermind Behind Yellowstone’S Agonizing Train Station Scenes – Breaking News Updates

The second season of the epic Yellowstone spin-off, 1923, is almost upon us, but there’s one thing that still lingers in the mind of fans – the train station. Avid viewers of the famed Taylor Sheridan franchise know that this is a significant element in the original show as it witnessed a lot of bloodshed and dead bodies.

The iconic train station first appeared on Yellowstone’s The Long Black Train from Season 1. This is basically the place where the powerful Dutton family members eliminate their enemies before hurling their bodies into the canyon, and this practice may date back decades ago.

The origin of the mysterious train station in Yellowstone may have been revealed in 1923

Fans who have seen the first season of 1923 may have noticed in the earlier episodes a reference to the train station in Yellowstone. In fact, a netizen on Reddit recalled a scene that almost directly confirms the origin of the traumatizing practice of the Duttons. Read the fan’s explanation below:

In a scene from Episode 6 of 1923 – although it did not explicitly confirm that Harrison Ford’s Jacob Dutton started the inhumane disposal of bodies in the train station – it somehow hinted that the practice began during this period.

When Helen Mirren’s character decided to tell the town sheriff all about Banner Creighton’s attack, the latter visited Jacob to get his statement. When asked what happened to the men who died during the shootout, he replied with, “Rotting on the Wyoming border.” As the fan pointed out in their explanation, this place is the same one that they call train station in Yellowstone.

As Kevin Costner’s John Dutton calls it the “trash can for everyone who’s ever attacked us,” the train station serves a crucial significance for both the original and the prequel series. Many fans have been wondering when and how the concept of the train station began, but after that surprising episode, we now have a clear idea of its possible origin.

Jacob must have figured out that the Montana-Wyoming border was the perfect wasteland for the bodies they needed to discard because this area is where someone can theoretically escape jail time for murder. Also called Zone of Death, this border has no residents, and therefore, no jury could be assembled in case someone commits a crime in the vicinity.

Harrison Ford was eager to return in Season 2 of 1923

Fans have clearly seen a different side of Ford in terms of acting in his performance in 1923. He has previously expressed excitement about being a part of Sheridan’s franchise, via THR, mainly because he wanted to explore other projects, and he believed in the series creator’s script.

The actor is expected to reprise his role in the second season of the prequel show, and perhaps we’ll get more explanation on the subject of the train station as the fan pointed out above. What’s certain is that there will be more drama and tension within the Dutton family and against their adversaries.
