Sister Wives Spoilers! Meri Brown Talks LAWYERING UP to Settle Coyote Pass Feud
The ongoing feud over Coyote Pass takes center stage in Sister Wives Season 19, Part Two. Tensions are rising as Meri Brown appears ready to take legal action against Kody Brown over the long-stalled division of the family’s land. With Janelle already consulting an attorney, will Meri be the next to lawyer up?
In the trailer for the upcoming episodes, Meri and Janelle meet at Coyote Pass, expressing frustration that nothing has changed. Kody has made no moves to divide the property or compensate them for their financial contributions. Meri, fed up with the lack of progress, voices her anger, stating that she’s considering taking legal action to ensure she gets what she’s owed.
Kody, on the other hand, remains defensive, insisting he’s not trying to deceive anyone. In a confessional, he vehemently denies any wrongdoing, stating, “Nobody’s trying to rip you off, Meri.” However, Meri isn’t convinced and feels abandoned not only by Kody but also by Robyn, who previously claimed to support her but has since remained distant.
Janelle, like Meri, has reached her breaking point. She acknowledges that as long as the dispute over Coyote Pass remains unresolved, she can’t fully move on. Unlike Christine, who left with the equity from her Flagstaff home, Janelle and Meri have yet to see any financial compensation for their shares of the land. They no longer wish to live there, but they still want what they rightfully deserve.
Meri and Kody officially split in December 2022, yet more than two years later, the property remains in limbo. Meri never requested alimony and has received nothing in return for her investments. Now, she’s demanding fairness, but whether Kody will finally act remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Janelle has taken steps to move forward. She has joined her daughter and son-in-law in North Carolina, purchasing a farm and leaving the past behind. However, she still needs to finalize the Coyote Pass issue before she can completely cut ties with Kody.
As fans eagerly await the resolution of this long-standing dispute, questions remain: Will Meri and Janelle finally get their share of Coyote Pass? Will legal action be the only way to hold Kody accountable? Or will this battle drag on indefinitely?
The new episodes of Sister Wives return on Sunday, April 20th, at 9:00 p.m. CST exclusively on TLC. Fans are eager to see how this dramatic showdown unfolds and whether Meri and Janelle will finally get the justice they seek.
